About - David E. Lehman
David Lehman's litigation experience spans four decades of serious engagement in civil disputes covering a wide array of legal issues. During his career at McNees, Wallace & Nurick in Harrisburg, PA, he also served as a mediator in over 100 cases. As a mediator with a keen understanding of litigation processes, of the rigors and uncertainties that parties face when they seek relief from perceived injustices, he quickly grasps the parties' positions and their relative strengths and weaknesses. As an independent and unbiased intermediary, he brings to the mediation table a wealth of substantive knowledge and, even more important, an informed insight into the critical interests of each side that must be served in any negotiated resolution. He has been designated a "Certified Mediator" by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and he has been a member of the court's panel since its inception in 1994.
Long active in both the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County bar associations and their professional and community programs, he was first listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in 1991, has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1991, and was first recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2004. He has also been named "Harrisburg Best Lawyers Bet-the company Litigator of the Year" for 2010.
